That’s why it was so important to us to create a welcoming, social experience. This is a place where you can come on your own or with a friend, connect with other like-minded people, and take pride in a look that’s uniquely you. What we wanted to achieve with The Vanity Bar is an experience that is tailored and hyper-focused to treatments and products that are results-based.

Mandy Haug, MSN, FNP-C is the Medical Director at The Vanity Bar. She entered medical aesthetics after developing a passion for women’s health, skincare, mental health and physical wellness. Since graduating with her first nursing degree in 2004, she has served roles in labor and delivery, nursing management, rescue nursing and primary care. In 2019 she obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner certification and began her extensive training in facial aesthetics.
Upon beginning her injection career, Mandy quickly developed a passion for injection safety and immersed herself in learning human facial anatomy and emergency protocols. She has completed neurotoxin and dermal filler training in Beverly Hills, CA and an intensive internship in Chandler, AZ. In addition, Mandy has completed numerous conferences, trainings, and webinars as she is eager to learn the latest and safest injection techniques. At her most recent training, Mandy had the opportunity to inject and dissect cadavers with certified AMI trainer, Julie Bass Kaplan.
She is an International member of Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative (CMAC). CMAC is a group of highly qualified experts who focus on raising the standard of clinical practice in the prevention and management of complications. Mandy has also completed Practical Application for Ultrasound in Aesthetics by Maria Hawkins in Frederick, MD.
Mandy believes in a safe, natural approach to facial aesthetics. She doesn’t want to change your features or the core of who you are. Her goal is to enhance your true beauty and give you the confidence to take on the world.
In her spare time, Mandy enjoys spending time with her kids and partner. She’s also a proud dog mom to two pups and has a pet tortoise. She loves to travel, try new foods, and unwind with a good glass of wine.

Holly started her career out in retail, working her way up to assisting and managing. After an extensive run with that and a couple of moves later, she discovered an interest in healthcare. She worked in Senior Living as a Medication Aide, and transitioned into the administrative side of things when she received an opportunity to work for an orthodontist office.
Skincare and beauty have always been a hobby and passion of hers so when the opportunity to combine that with her love of healthcare presented itself, The Vanity Bar was the perfect fit and she has been here since day 1.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, being a foodie, gardening and taking care of her large collection of houseplants, spending time with her family and furbabies, poking around little local shops, and is always searching for that perfect cup of coffee.
Her favorite part about working at The Vanity Bar is hands-down helping everyone who walks in feel beautiful in their own skin! It's so important to love yourself and when you feel good that's an amazing first step.
HOLLY

Alex is an LPN with The Vanity Bar. She is originally a Minnesota girl and finished some undergrad coursework at Bemidji State University before moving to Fargo and later pursuing a nursing degree. After graduating from nursing school and becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2019, she took a position with an Urgent Care Clinic where she learned so much and developed her nursing skills. Since then, she has worked in Guest Services for Medical Aesthetics, as well as working as a Medical Dermatology Nurse.
Her real passion has always been skincare, and being able to combine nursing with her love of skincare and aesthetics has been a dream for as long as she can remember. Her goal will always be to help people feel their most confident and beautiful selves!

Originally from Minot, ND Kenna moved to Fargo in 2019 after graduating high school. Prior to Esthetician school, she was working as a CNA/CMA and Pharmacy Technician. She has always had a huge love for helping people, especially helping them feel and look their best! Helping people love what they see in the mirror is one of the most fulfilling things.
Growing up dealing with acne, she truly understands what it is like to feel defeated with your skin. Going to the store and seeing the overwhelming amount of skincare and not knowing what to pick doesn’t make it easier. These experiences are when she decided to go to Esthetician school, graduating in 2024. While there, she learned so much about herself and it was just the beginning of her love for skincare.
She truly believes that when you look good you feel good. Her goal will always be to make you feel amazing and not so stressed when it comes to your skin. Let’s be real, we’re all so busy with our lives that skincare can get pushed to the back burner and that’s what she wants to be there for - let her take all the stress of skincare away and come relax and be your best self.
When she’s not working she loves to read, go shopping and travel with her Hubby. She’s a huge dog and cat lover, and also loves true crime and any type of documentaries.

With 26 years in the beauty and wellness industry, Sandy’s passion lies in skincare, education, and truly caring for people. She has spent the last 21 years teaching esthetics at a local beauty school, guiding future professionals as they begin their careers.
She loves working directly with clients and has been part of The Vanity Bar team since 2023 where she combines her expertise, education, and genuine love for skincare to create meaningful experiences for every client.
Outside of work, she enjoys life with her daughter Kenna and their dog Ella. They love traveling and discovering new places, and when she has time to herself nothing beats a good book and a glass of wine.

Cailey is originally from South Carolina and relocated to Fargo in 2024. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University and brings a strong background in retail and customer service to her role as Lead Concierge and Social Media Manager.
With a long-standing passion for skincare and a growing love for aesthetics, Cailey enjoys creating engaging social media content and ensuring every client that walks into The Vanity Bar feels welcomed, supported, and cared for. She is especially passionate about mental health and self-care, and values the connection between confidence, wellness, and overall well-being.
In her spare time, Cailey enjoys crocheting, needlepoint, reading, and spending time with her husband and pup.

Katie grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario and moved to Minnesota for graduate school in 2006. After graduating in 2008 with MA in Communications, Katie worked in the learning and development industry where she designed, developed, and implemented learning solutions for a variety of organizations and clients.
In 2014, Katie and her husband Emerson moved to Fargo where Emerson began his career as an Orthodontist and partner at WE Ortho. They attended many orthodontic conferences and dreamed up The Vanity Bar after discussing how orthodontics and aesthetics really go hand in hand for adult patients. Katie and Emerson saw an opportunity to design and develop a space that embraced social self-care and worked to destigmatize aesthetic treatments. The Vanity Bar opened its doors in June 2020 and welcomed patients into a space that was unlike anything in the Region.
Katie and Emerson have two children, Porter and Pippa and love to ski, travel, and spend time at the lake on the water.
